On Wednesday 24th April from 3.30pm to 7pm, we held a public consultation for the local residents and community with regards to a new single storey pavilion and multi-use games area.
The overall aim of this project is to provide Hallfield Primary School with a new school pavilion and multi use game area. The design outcome is to improve school facilities while ensuring that Hallfield Primary School builds on its reputation as being a pro-active local asset and be a community hub. Provision of a new pavilion will create further external and internal opportunities for Hallfield Primary School pupils to engage in physical activity. Firstly and foremost, the pupils will be provided with a space which accommodates changing and rest facilities associated with activity. Therefore, pupils will no longer need to return to main school building to change or use the toilet. On the other hand creating a pavilion with the necessary amenities such as changing facilities, toilets and a studio space will give the school the flexibility of letting out the studio room for different activities and events.
We would like to thank all local residents to the school and other interested parties, who attended this event and shared their views with us on the proposed designs, which can also be viewed below.
