Our KS1 Specialist Resourced Provision (SRP) will be opened in September 2025 as an extension to our excellent EYFS SRP and SEND provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead on a new aspect of the school’s inclusive provision and to influence the work of all staff.
The Governors are looking to appoint a Lead Teacher
Salary: MPS 4 – 6 + SEN allowance (grading of SEN will be based on experience & qualification)
Contract type: permanent
This person will play a key role, supported by the Headteacher and Inclusion Manager, in managing and maximising the success of our specialist provision for up to twelve KS1 children with Autism or on a pathway to receiving a diagnosis of Autism. The provision for September 2025 may start with a small number of children and it will expand in size from there. The provision is situated in a newly redesigned section in the heart of the school building.
The successful candidate will be a talented, passionate and suitably experienced practitioner. They must have a clear understanding and experience of effective teaching and learning as well as of raising and sustaining achievement within specialist Autism provision. They must be a strong communicator and team player and able to engage effectively with the children, staff and parents/carers on a daily basis. They will also need to be enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the belief in the potential of every individual child as well as the drive to support all children to become the best they can be.
